Responsibilities

This OPS position serves as the receptionist for the Office of the Dean in the FSU College of Education.

Primary responsibilities include answering the front desk phone and directing calls to the appropriate staff; greeting/receiving all student and faculty visitors as well as assisting in answering general COE questions. Assists with office operational functions such as opening and closing the office, maintaining and scheduling the Dean's Office conference room; distributing mail within the office and on campus. Performing other duties as assigned.

This position reports to the Office Administrator of the Dean's Office.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

A minimum of two years' experience working within a professional office environment and experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Candidates must be professional, calm, and possess excellent customer service skills.

Emphasis on punctuality, initiative, customer service and being a team player.

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.

Schedule

If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.
