Advertised Job Summary: The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy is currently seeking a motivated individual for an Administrative Coordinator position to support the Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Outcomes Sciences (CPOS) within the College of Pharmacy. The coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day educational and operational requirements for CPOS. This includes managing accounting and financial reports for educational offices within the department. The coordinator will be responsible for managing data analysis / management software and education evaluation systems / databases. The coordinator will also be responsible for a variety administrative and clerical duties including travel authorization / reimbursement, payment requests and invoicing, graduate student hiring, and phone support in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decisions and independent work.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft® Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of procedures for processing travel, payment requests, and graduate student hiring procedures (e.g. PeopleSoft, VIP)
