Position Description: Supports the College of Education's (COE) and Educator Preparation data management and dissemination responsibilities; collaborates with faculty and staff to routinely analyze data; coordinates collection, analysis, and distribution of any departmental or college-wide and Educator Preparation data; coordinates data collection and writing for annual external reporting, including Title II and the State Annual report; coordinates with IT and Institutional Research and Effectiveness to maintain and improve UNITED (and related systems); conducts and coordinates psychometric studies to establish reliability and validity; and serves as a college and Educator Preparation representative on various councils and committees.
Education Requirements: Master's degree in higher education, educational research, assessment, measurement and statistics, instructional design, or a closely related field required.
Required Qualification: At least three years of demonstrated experience with diverse assessment methods; high degree of computer proficiency; experience collaborating on and providing leadership for projects; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated experience with organization-level continuous improvement initiatives and understanding of assessment systems and reporting required.
Desirable Qualifications: Doctorate in higher education, educational research, assessment, measurement and statistics, instructional design, or closely related field; experience working in a college or university setting; knowledge of and experience with P-12 and higher education assessment needs and processes; knowledge of instrument design and validation; and familiarity with analytics and statistical modeling and analysis preferred.
