Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Experience with C++ and have successfully released software developed collaboratively.
Experience in two of the following:
1. Performance profiling tools
2. Compilers and code generation
3. Distributed and parallel computing
4. Debugger development
5. Assembly language programming
Must have good oral/written communication skills.
Expertise in one of the above mentioned areas.
License or certificate:
The Paradyn Project in the UW Department of Computer Sciences is a world leader in tools for the analyzing, instrumenting and modifying binary code, with applications in performance measurement, debugging, testing, software security, forensics, and many others.
