The University of Virginia Department of Student Health is seeking a wage Nurse Practitioner to work 4-12 hours weekly in the Gynecology Clinic.
The Nurse Practitioner in the Gynecology Clinic supports the components of the mission of Student Health: 1) Clinical Care: by providing direct patient care; 2) Education: by serving as consultant for clinical trainees and participating in other teaching functions within the University; 3) Public Health: by engaging in screening, treatment, and notification programs as appropriate, and 4) Research: by indirectly supporting or directly participating in the research efforts of the Department. The position exists primarily to provide direct patient care.

As a member of the Medical Staff, professional conduct is expected in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, in addition to working collegially with staff and students and being a supportive member of group practice.
