This position is responsible for general food service work in the cafeteria at a K-12 school. Duties may include: cashier, cleaning tables, sweeping, food prep, washing, other cleaning tasks, including operation of the dish washing machine. Carries out routine duties that require a sequence of steps usually performed in a standardized way.


Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of this position including bending and moving/lifting 50 pounds.
Must be able to work with children and adults.
Must be a team player.


Experience in a K-12 setting
Experience in the food service industry

Other Information

Must be able to give 3 professional references

Anticipated Salary Range

OPS position $8.50 per hour
Paid Bi-weekly

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.


Part-time, Monday through Friday, hours will vary

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting, with the cost being the responsibility of the successful candidate.The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11. Re-certification is required at 5 year intervals (at the employee's expense).
