Assistant Professor of Psychology, Clinical Psychology,
Emphasis on Neuropsychology
The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in clinical neuropsychology with specialized training and research interests in aging. The position begins in August 2019. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from a university-affiliated APA-accredited clinical psychology program, with evidence of research and clinical training in neuropsychology and aging.
UCCS faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and research, with the expectation that faculty maintain a productive program of research with commitment to obtain external funding. Clinical instruction and supervision in the department's community clinic (UCCS Aging Center) may be part of the teaching load in addition to undergraduate and graduate classes. Preference will be given for those eligible for Colorado licensure and for board certification in neuropsychology. The tenure-track faculty in the Psychology Department currently offer a BA program in Psychology, an MA program with tracks in Clinical Psychology and Psychological Science (with optional sub-plans), and a Clinical Psychology PhD with Major Areas of Study in Geropsychology or Trauma Psychology (more information is available at https://www.uccs.edu/psych/). The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and service.
