Adjunct Assistant

Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Teach North Texas seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Assistant Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated need may include but is not limited to:
Candidate will provide math support for Teach North Texas in both TNTX and EDCI courses. Reviewing of student
created lessons and units and coaching of TNT students in the teaching of content. Additionally, the candidate will
provide evaluation and feedback of candidates during field experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science or related degree. Experience working with teachers during instruction (e.g., mentor, lead teacher).

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related degree. Experience as a classroom teacher in Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science. Experience teaching in higher education. Experience in supervision of teachers.
