Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Neurotrauma

Job description



The Spinal Cord & Brain Injury Research Center (SCoBIRC; https://scobirc.med.uky.edu) in the University of Kentucky College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded neurotrauma-focused research program that complements and extends the current expertise within the Center.

As a part of the long-standing commitment of the University and the Commonwealth of Kentucky to translationally oriented traumatic brain and spinal cord injury research, SCoBIRC offers a wealth of resources for neurotrauma research. Competitive startup funding, salary support, and state of the art facilities are available. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D and a track record of ongoing research in neuroscience and injury-related disciplines.
