Windows Server Engineer II/UKHC

Job description



The Windows Server Engineer II position will be responsible for leveraging problem and incident management techniques for infrastructure related problems; proactively monitoring system performance; integrating, administering and providing input into the design of server systems. This position will support the processes in which utilize the capabilities provided by new information technology to the organization in terms of increased efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of the UK HealthCare Information Technology process. VMware VCP5-DCV or Microsoft MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certifications are required within one year of hire date.

VMware VCP5-DCV or Microsoft MCSA: Windows Server 2012. Certifications are required within one year of hire date.



Physical Requirements

This position may require sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.



Shift

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; may require weekends and holidays per department needs.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

The ideal candidate will have successful proven knowledge of the information technology processes within a healthcare setting.
