The Department of Biology at Rollins College invites applications for a one-year, Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology position beginning August 2019. We are seeking a broadly trained biologist with a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in a liberal arts institution. Responsibilities will include participating in our team-taught Introductory Biology series for majors, teaching general education courses for non-science majors and developing a topics course in your area of specialty.


  • Ph.D. in the biological sciences
  • Ability to develop and deliver curriculum, meet the demands of the position in a timely manner and assess student learning outcomes
