FELLOWSHIP PROJECT MANAGER
Duties: The Center for Community and Population Health in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health seeks a Project Manager A to support a HRSA-funded primary care training and enhancement program focused on improving primary care delivery in West Philadelphia. The position will support this new program through working directly with the PI and project team to manage the implementation of program proposals, generating and submitting progress reports, managing timelines, as well as quality improvement initiatives across multiple sites. The Project Manager will be responsible for stakeholder engagement including a 'community of practice', advisory board, work groups, curriculum programming, data collection and program evaluation and dissemination.
Qualifications: The minimum of a Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, health care administration or a related field, and 3 to 5 years of experience in health services research, community based research, and/or community health program implementation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree is a plus. Excellent organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills; and familiarity with the use of word processing, spreadsheets, database, web-based applications, and electronic health record systems, are required. Previous experience with project management or graduate medical education programming is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with health systems research and primary care quality improvement activities are desired but not required. Prior experience with IRB guidelines, EHR data, and patient registries desired. The position requires a highly-motivated, interactive, articulate individual with excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with clinicians, trainees, patients, and families.
