Job description

This position will coordinate the day-to-day operations for the Specialty Pharmacy Services. This includes: typing correspondence for Directors; scheduling meetings; maintain calendars; preparing presentations for Director's and other departmental staff; report all employee time in UK HealthCare time system (KRONOS); coordinate
all staff travel arrangements; serve as a liaison between Pharmacy Directors, staff and UK HealthCare departments as well as University staff; provide administrative leadership and support for URAC standards.

Physical Requirements

May include sitting and/or standing for > 5 hours at a time; and sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods with regular repetitive motions (such as typing). Frequently walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances. Occasionally, pushing, standing, or walking with objects up to 20 lbs.


Day shift varies from 7:30a-5pm- Mon-Fri; Hours and days of the week are subject to change based on the needs and growth of the department.


The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment; knowledge of SAP and Kronos scheduling/timekeeping; proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect for confidentiality and diversity.

Preferred Education/Experience

Administrative and/or personnel support experience as well as Payroll and/or
timekeeping experience preferred.
Healthcare administration support highly preferred.
