Position Summary

The Department of Management in the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) invites applications, expressions of interest, and nominations for a full-time opening in the Department of Management. Pending budgetary approval, the position will commence on August 1, 2019, at the rank of associate professor or full professor.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school in Human Resources Management or a closely related field. For the full professor position, applicants must be tenured at the professor level or associate professor level with sufficient quality scholarly publications that would lead to tenure and promotion to full professor.

A strong record of published research in premier and high-quality management journals, and experience in teaching doctoral seminars and/or advising doctoral students in the dissertation process are required. Online teaching is a requirement for this position. We seek applicants who can to tie their teaching and research to key elements of our mission (problem solving, innovation, globalization, sustainability, and ethics) and have an interest in working with student consulting projects.
