The Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking Sr. Patients Accounts Representative. This position is primary responsible for posting and obtaining authorization for all elective and direct admit surgical cases and non-invasive procedures perform at all locations by any of the Neurosurgeons (Both Cranial and Spine) within the Department of Neurosurgery. This position reports directly to the Supervisor, Medical Billing. The minimum requirements are as follows: High school graduate or equivalent with relevant college course work. Three years of relevant experience required. Three years of patient-related experience in a medical setting. Knowledge of medical terminology for diagnoses and treatment. Basic Skill Level of Knowledge in: Computers(Outlook/Microsoft Office and Excel). Patient safety is a top priority.
