The Office of Professional Advancement is hiring instructors for the Residential Design Certificate program. Applicants must have a Bachelor Degree in an area of Interior Design or related program, and 3+ years of experience in the Design industry. A hands-on program, students will learn history of interiors, principles and elements of design, freehand and computer drafting, specification and materials, professional practice, photography and building a portfolio. Instructors need to be qualified to teach at least on of the following areas of concentration:• History of Interiors• Specifications• Design Studio• Professional Practice• Presentation Techniques Duties include: developing curriculum and course instruction. Applicant must be available to teach evenings and /or weekends. Excellent English skills, verbal and written, required. These are part-time lecturer positions. Salary: Competitive.
