The Department of Geological Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences is soliciting applications for individuals interested in a possible part-time teaching position during the 2017-2018 academic year. The department is particularly interested in applicants able to teach Geological Sciences. Duties will include teaching a Geological Sciences course at the undergraduate level, and a minimum of three hours per week of office hours per course (laboratory, discussion section) to meet with students. Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in Geological Sciences. Applicants will be reviewed as received, and this pool will remain open throughout the academic year. An appointment / offer is contingent upon student demand (enrollments) and available funding, with the possibility that final confirmation will not be available until classes begin.
