Associate Professor/Professor, Research Center Director
School of Communication
University of Miami

The School of Communication at the University of Miami is seeking applicants for a tenure-track appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level with expertise in health communication, science communication, or environmental communication.  The successful candidate will hold an appointment in one or more of the School’s four academic departments, and assume leadership for the School’s Center for Communication, Culture, and Change (com.miami.edu/center-for-ccc). 
 
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in communication or a related discipline, and a strong record of teaching and publication. Candidates should also evidence appreciation for both creative activity and research, and an interest in collaboration across methodological approaches. Preference will be given to candidates who have significant and successful experience in securing and managing grants, as well as some proven facility for administration.
