The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has opened a position for a fellowship in Cardiothoracic imaging in partnership with Jackson Memorial Hospital beginning on July 1, 2017 and July 1, 2018. The fellowship will be focused mostly on cardiac imaging. The cardiac program includes a diverse experience with all aspects of cardiac care including coronary atery disease, heart failure, per and post heart transplant, pediatric and adult congenital disease, acute cardiac care and pre-procedural image for TAVR and left atrial ablation. The department has state of the art equipment including 3T and 1.5T MRI, 128 and 320 slice CT scanner.The fellowship will include:* Interpret all aspects of CT and MRI cardiac imaging.* Perform and interpret general cardiothoracic radiological examinations and supervision of residents* Supervising cardiac imaging and post processing* Provide cardiothiacic radiology consultation as requested* Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of cardiothoracic radiology as required* Participate in research activities* Assume administrative responsibilities related to research and teaching activities as required.Miami offers a diverse community with a rich cultural, recreational and gastronomic experience.The potential candidate must have completed their radiological training and have passd the ABR core exam or be ABR certified as well as eligible for a Florida unrestricted medical license.Interested candidates should apply online and attach their CV, Cover Letter, and 3 letters of reference.If you have questions regarding the position, you may contactSade JemmottEmail: sxj418@med.miami.edu
