Enrollment Counselor, Senior
The University of Arizona Online (Arizona Online) Corporate Initiative program creates strategic partnerships with local, regional, and national companies to provide UA’s world-class degree programs in a way that meets the needs of full-time working professionals. The Arizona Online team is looking for a dynamic, motivated Enrollment Counselor Senior to manage the recruitment and enrollment activities for these key relationships. As an integral part of the high achieving Arizona Online team within the Academic Initiatives and Student Success organization, this individual will manage all aspects of employer-related recruitment events and associated recruitment and enrollment efforts for their assigned partnerships. Events include a variety of large-scale career fairs and graduate school fairs, as well as niche career mixers, special receptions, presentations and other unique talent acquisition and employer cultivation events that occur both on and off campus.
The Enrollment Counselor Senior professional tends to manage all details of event coordination from tabling material to coordinating with the Corporate Client Manager to partners on campus who have a hand in a students’ experience at the University of Arizona. The Enrollment Counselor Senior maximizes the use of technology, especially the iPad to collect student information, in event setup, management of RSVP’s and creating meaningful reports on event attendance and outcomes. This position identifies and targets events toward student needs through collaboration with the Corporate Client Manager, other departments at the University of Arizona such as the Bursar’s office, Financial Aid, Student Success, etc. This individual will also be responsible for enhancing communication plans and tabling events through the use of data and industry knowledge. This individual is also responsible for all potential student follow up and continued communication through the entire admissions process, as well as maintaining relationships with the continuing student population within their assigned corporate partners to ensure a smooth term-over-term transition. This requires frequent communication and coordination with students and Student Academic Success Specialists, as well as working closely with other support personnel both within and outside of the Arizona Online team, including partnering with and supporting additional Corporate Enrollment Partner co-worker (s) who have their own set of corporate partners.
Note: Frequent in-state and out-of-state travel is required. This includes, but is not limited to, regular travel to UA’s campus and corporate partners in Tucson. This position may involve long periods of driving and will include participation at college and career fairs, with long periods of floor time and the lifting of boxes. Duties also involve occasional participation in evening programs.
