Temporary Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Physiology

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities Teach the Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab courses as assigned.Develop a Human Biology course with an online presence.Become Quality Matters certified.Serves on school and college wide committees.Attend faculty meetings and in-service programs. Exhibit professional and scholarly growth.Participate in recruitment and retention of students. Maintain scheduled office and classroom hours.Complete assessment on each of the courses taught.Serve as an effective academic adviser. Participate in recruitment and retention of students.Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Dean of the School of Health Science.

Minimum Required Education Master's degree in anatomy and physiology or related field required. Doctorate preferred.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications None required

Type and Amount of Experience Needed Prior experience teaching at a community college preferred.
