Minimum $36,790 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:
-Bachelor's Degree required. Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
--Experience with substance use disorders and recovery is required
-Professional AODA training (eg. Associates degree in AODA or CSAC in AODA) preferred
-Clinical experience and specialization preferred
-Up to 5-7 years of relevant work experience preferred
-Working with Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs) and other stakeholders preferred
-Experience with Recovery Coaching Model preferred
-Management experience preferred
-Knowledgeable of Recovery Support Services and treatment options for populations of focus preferred
Prefix assignment is determined by years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 7 years of experience is required for appointment at the senior level.
License or certificate:
The Outreach Specialist roles & responsibilities are designed to ensure increased capacity of Wisconsin Voices for Recovery grants, projects and initiatives, along with the oversight of the provision of direct peer support in the form of recovery coaching and/ or peer support provided by a Certified Peer Support Specialist or Recovery Coach in hospital and other settings. Up to 25 hospitals statewide will be selected for participation. The goal of the program is to be self-sustaining after a 2 year time period.
