Degree and Area of Specialization:

MSSW-Master of Social Work

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

A minimum of five years experience in clinical practice as a clinical social worker is required.
A minimum of three years of experience in the design and delivery of a behavioral health curriculum is required.
A minimum of three years experience providing instruction, clinical observation and workshops for residents in a Family Medicine residency program is required.
Experience with establishing and managing workplace wellness programs is required.

License or certificate:

LCSW State of Wisconsin
Completion of 3,000 clinically supervised hours

Position Summary:

The UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health Behavioral Health Residency Educator will provide residency education in behavioral health and also provide statewide support as a behavioral health coordinator. Additionally, they will function as the department Wellness Director and faculty coach.
