Degree and Area of Specialization:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

A minimum of two-years in academic administration or client services. Experience with program recruitment preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication.
Ability to manage complicated projects.
Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G-Suite. Experience with learning management systems a plus.
Customer/client services.

Position Summary:

The Center for Patient Partnerships (CPP), located in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School, is an interdisciplinary program with a mission to educate undergraduate, graduate and professional students in health advocacy through hands-on delivery of advocacy services. Working under the supervision of the Director of Education, the Student and Client Services Specialist will coordinate the Center's educational administrative needs, conducting outreach and administrative coordination for our various interdisciplinary educational offerings for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate learners.

This position will often be the first voice representing CPP to potential students and clients. In collaboration with our program faculty, the Student and Client Services Specialist will coordinate our student recruitment and marketing activities. This includes representing the Center at events, fielding phone and email inquiries from prospective students and developing marketing materials. At CPP students learn by providing advocacy support to patients with serious and life-threatening illnesses. The Student and Client Services Specialist will also be responsible for coordinating the intake process for prospective clients, explaining our program and scheduling prospective clients for intake.
