Summary of Job Duties
The Administrative Specialist III is the assistant to the Departmental Administrative Manager. This position is responsible for coordinating office activities, working with faculty and students on academic matters, researching and preparing special reports, and assisting the Departmental Admin. Manager with administrative policies and procedures. This position will maintain departmental website, work on the annual news letter and work on departmental events.

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field; plus three years of experience in specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with faculty and students.
Experience with the University of Arkansas systems including BASIS, UAConnect, R25, and Razorbuy.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiently skilled in Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
