Job description

The University of Kentucky's Medical Center Physical Plant is currently seeking 10 Maintenance Technician II's for Facilities Management.

Under the direct leadership and supervision of the Maintenance
Superintendent III, this position will implement the PPD mission and goals for
preventative maintenance for UK HealthCare Enterprise and meet or exceed
customer service requirements. Preventative maintenance reduces short
term costs resulting from equipment failure rates while increasing life cycles
of equipment.

Physical Requirements

Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to and possibly over 50lbs;
or walking with objects up to 251bs; Repetitive motion. May be exposed to
loud noises, fumes, confined spaces, and/or weather/temperature extremes
while on a job-site(s) or traveling to/from various job sites. (Intermittent)


Days [7:00 am - 3:30 pm] (Monday -Friday). However must be flexible to work
overtime, nights, weekends, and Holidays to meet the operational needs as
directed by Supervisor, Manager or Director.


MS Windows / Office; KRONOS; and SAP.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?

Preferred Education/Experience

High School + 4-years in building and/or equipment maintenance; and Driver's License are preferred.
