Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) is a unique and vibrant learning institution with two new state-of-the-art campuses ideally located on West Street in the Financial District and in the South Bronx in the Hub district. As a non-profit, regionally accredited college offering associate, bachelor's and master's degrees, we appeal to highly motivated adult learners who are committed to their education and transforming their lives and the lives of others. The College seeks a creative, experienced administrator to provide leadership for a broad range of strategic and operational goals for its Bronx Campus. Reporting to the Chief Academic Officer, the Director will be responsible for providing overall operational leadership and supervision of academic and administrative processes; co-supervising site-based employees and coordinating work schedules to ensure adequate levels of student services; work with the enrollment management team to develop, implement and evaluate enrollment plans for the site; coordinate administrative needs for the site with admissions, registrar, financial aid, bursar, library, learning center, academic advising, student services, technology, mail and duplicating services, security and facilities.

Minimum requirements include a Master's degree with at least 5 years of management and supervisory experience; higher education experience including good understanding of enrollment management and academic services administration; strong analytic, strategic planning, and organizational skills; effective communication and decision making skills; a results-oriented, positive approach to problem solving; experience with budget preparation and management; proficient with Microsoft Office and knowledge of student information system preferred; experience working with a diverse student body; experience in extension site operations preferred. This position requires working some evenings and weekends and travel between the Bronx and Manhattan sites.
