Eastern Michigan University's OT Program is seeking individuals to contribute to the growth of our program. We invite applications for two 8-month tenure track positions beginning in Winter 2019/Fall 2019.

EMU, a moderate-sized public institution located in southeast Lower Michigan, offers convenient access to abundant cultural, artistic, and entertainment opportunities. The University has a commitment to community collaborations and partnerships having received the Carnegie Foundation designation for community engagement since 2008.

Eastern Michigan University's Occupational Therapy program is well respected within the University and is acknowledged as a program of excellence. We are one of eight programs that comprise the School of Health Sciences, situated in the College of Health and Human Services. The College recognizes the importance of interprofessional education initiatives and research through the provision of internal awards and funding opportunities. EMU actively supports scholarly endeavors with multiple internal awards.

The OT faculty is composed of a committed group of educators with strong ties to the community and the OT profession. There are numerous opportunities for teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level in our integrated curriculum. Many of our courses are team-taught, offering both our faculty and students opportunities for collaborative learning experiences. Our MOT program produces graduates who are successful in the field, and we are in the beginning stages of developing our entry-level doctoral program, with opportunities for new members of our faculty to shape this program.

If you seek an academic environment where you can use your skills to teach in a highly integrated occupation-centered curriculum as well as to pursue your unique research interests, EMU may be a good fit for you.
