The Department of Computer Science at the University of Virginia is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Dr. Samira Khan. The successful candidate will perform cutting-edge research on computer architecture and systems. Especially, the candidate will be working on the system support for new memory technologies and will be associated with the processing-in-memory center, CRISP, the Center for Research in Storage and Processing-in-Memory https://crisp.engineering.virginia.edu. The candidate is expected to mentor and supervise PhD students.
A PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with experience in systems and architecture is required by the start date. The applicant should also possess good technical writing skills as evidenced by publication of papers in top computer science conferences.
