Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia seeks applicants for an experienced broadcast news Executive Producer for the Center of Media and Citizenship in the Department of Media Studies. The Executive Producer will be responsible for the production of three half hour newscasts for the pilot year of this newscast. Supervise the taping of the individual component parts of each broadcast, then edit each broadcast to the timing required by the airing stations. Set up needed components to store broadcast elements, either by drop box, Google Share or the UVa Media server. Responsibilities include working with the PBS stations to re-purpose each newscast as a radio podcast for air on the stations' NPR radio affiliates.
