Job Description

This position will be 25% of clinical activity and 75% in administrative responsibilities serving as a "Chief Resident". The Chief Resident will work collaboratively to develop a top tier program in Pediatrics for Students and Residents that is consistent with the level of education as a whole for the medical program of the University. This position will be responsible for coordination of the overall teaching conference curriculum, organization and front-line oversight of resident clinical rotations, service on various hospital committees, and overall facilitation of the resident/faculty teaching dynamics within the department, as well as to serve as a role model for more junior residents. In addition, this position will work collaboratively to develop and maintain a top-notch clinical service consistent with the rest of the Department of Child Health.
