The Program in Arts Technology is a multi-disciplinary degree program housed in the College of Fine Arts. The curriculum prepares students to be artists who work in an interactive and digital media. The curriculum includes a wide range of courses from traditional arts disciplines as well as technology-specific courses that include: interactive media and web development, video, sound design, digital music composition, and coding and programming.
In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, the Program in Arts Technology maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in part-time, non-tenure-track Instructional Assistant Professor and Lecturer positions. These positions are represented by the Illinois State University Education Association and may have associated dues or fees.
1. Bachelor's degree with expertise in one of the subject matters taught within the program's curriculum or a closely related field; or equivalent professional experience.
2. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
3. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
