Digital & Brand Strategy Director/UKHC

Job description



The Managing Director of Digital and Brand Strategy, the top marketing position for UK HealthCare, works to fulfill UK HealthCare's mission and vision by managing and directing a marketing team focused on elevating the UK HealthCare brand through a robust strategy. It includes developing a strong focus on digital marketing while also elevating traditional marketing tactics including advertising and external communications. This role will be ultimately responsible for development and execution of the brand strategy for the entire enterprise, as well as working in cooperation with key stakeholders across the university. Additionally, this position provides a key leadership role that implements key efforts emanating from the office of the Executive Vice President for Health Affairs.

Physical Requirements

The essential job functions of this position require you to: communicate and build strategic working relationships with staff, faculty, and other individuals from diverse backgrounds; abide by University guidelines; maintain confidentiality; prioritize and manage work effectively; positively represent UK HealthCare; and report to meetings at different locations both on campus and off campus.



Shift

The expectation is primarily day shift Monday-Friday, however as an exempt level position additional hours will be required as needed to perform job duties.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in all Microsoft programs as well as most CMS platforms; have the ability to lead others, taking into account divergent demands while managing scope and timelines; demonstrates strong analytical and qualitative research experience; be well organized; have exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); strong ability to engage and motivate others; active listening skills; enjoy working independently as well as in a group; and a thorough understanding of resource and employee management.

Degree in marketing/communications; must have strong experience working with major brands, with digital marketing, and management/leadership.
