The Department of Geosciences at Princeton University announces competition for the inaugural Harry Hess Faculty Fellows program; successful candidates will be appointed as Senior Research Scholars in the department. This honorific program provides opportunities for distinguished geoscientists to pursue their research at Princeton University for a minimum term of one month to a maximum term of twelve months. Harry Hess Faculty Fellows are required to give at least three presentations at a public lecture series sponsored by the Department, and potentially engage with members of a graduate seminar. Fellows are expected to participate in the academic life of the department. Applicants must be a tenured faculty member or hold an equivalent position at a higher education or research institution, and must be in residence in Princeton during the term of their appointment.
