Retirement Planning Program Manager

Job description

The Retirement Planning Program Manager will manage the development, implementation, and service delivery of a comprehensive retirement planning program that serves and educates faculty and employees transitioning from active employee to retiree status. Deliver training and education programs. Provide consultations with individuals exploring their transition to retiree status.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Master's degree in human resources management or related field.

Required Experience:
5 years of related experience in benefits administration and benefits service delivery, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience administering retirement programs, delivering trainings and communications, and providing high-quality, direct client service.

Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in higher education and/or a complex benefits environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills. Ability to learn quickly and respond nimbly as the organizational landscape evolves. Strong client service delivery and customer service orientation. Strong organizational planning skills. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing benefits planning (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, etc.). Familiarity with data analytics and business process design.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience conducting focus groups and designing engagement surveys.
