Starting pay is based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $13.70 per hour.
This position provides overall administrative support to the College of Letters & Science Office of the Dean, including the Deputy Dean, Associate Dean for Operations and Staff; and Associate Dean for Fiscal Initiatives. Responsibilities include managing calendars, correspondence, schedules, and travel arrangements as well as project support and special assignments associated with the work of the Dean's Office. This position works closely with the Associate Dean for Operations and Staff to manage internal administrative communications. Additional assignments are varied and depend on the needs of the Dean's Office.
This position also serves as the receptionist to all visitors to the Dean's Office. The individual in this position will present a positive, patient and tolerant attitude in all personal and telephone interactions as well as presenting a positive image for the College of Letters & Science. This individual will also need to consistently exercise courtesy, accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and strive to maintain a cooperative relationship with students, faculty, staff and visitors to the Dean's office.
Regular office hours, somewhat flexible.
