The Business Learning Commons is a new environment that has experienced increased activity since the start of the Fall semester. This position will be responsible for data collection, troubleshooting, and tracking student and instructor usage. The incumbent will be responsible for the website and social media for the Business Learning Commons. Due to the novel environment, changes in the work of this position are a given. The person in this position should possess a comfort level in interacting with the technology
in this space.
The Wisconsin School of Business Learning Commons is a collaborative learning space
in the heart of Grainger Hall. Underscoring the School's commitment to educational innovation, the Learning Commons is a vibrant locale for students to exchange ideas, access cutting-edge technology,and learn in new and inspiring ways. With flexible environments, improved connectivity, and forward-thinking technology, the Learning Commons is designed to serve the needs of the WSB community today and in the future.

A typical week is below:
Monday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Tuesday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Wednesday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Thursday - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Friday - 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
Occasional weekend hours may be assigned.
This position is expected to last one year, but may be extended for a second year based on funding and the needs of the unit.
