The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Missouri is seeking exceptional candidates for a faculty anesthesiologist position. This position will provide the opportunity to join a group of energetic, dynamic, and culturally diverse faculty and staff at a premier academic medical center with strong growth in surgical volumes and expansion of surgical facilities. Candidates will be considered for a tenure or non-tenure track faculty appointment. Rank will be dependent on academic background and clinical experience. Seeking candidates with experience in general and regional anesthesia for adult patients, anesthesia obstetrics patients, or anesthesia in outpatient surgery centers. Background in academic medicine is preferred, but not required. Anesthesiologists will work closely with nurse anesthetists, resident physicians, and medical students providing medical direction along with classroom and clinical instruction. Opportunities exist for the development work/call rotation which will present an ideal work/life balance.
MD/DO, ABA BC/BE in Anesthesiology, Missouri license.
