I. RECRUITMENT PLAN
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking full-time Hematologist/Oncologists with clinical specialization in transplant and cell therapy to join our bone marrow transplantation and cell therapies programs in the Division of Hematology/Oncology of the Department of Medicine. These non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) and salary commensurate with experience. Successful candidates will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues of the George Washington Cancer Center. The Center brings together the resources of the University, the GW Medical Faculty Associates, and the GW University Hospital, to expand current research efforts in the fight against cancer and to position our institution as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area.Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine, Board certified/eligible Hematology and/or Medical Oncology, and licensed in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment. Applicants must have training and experience providing care for transplant and cell therapy patients; conducting clinical trials; and teaching students, residents and fellows.Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
