Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Mathematics, with a preference for candidates specializing in Computational Algebra, Number Theory, or Combinatorics, with a preferred start date of August 1, 2019.



Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have or anticipate a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field by August 1, 2019.



Preferred Qualifications

Successful applicants will be expected to excel in teaching, maintain a vigorous research program, seek external research funding, and educate a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students from various backgrounds. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
