The Program Assistant V position will implement, oversee, and actively participate in case management of students majoring in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) at the community college level for the HSI STEM Grant€™s pipeline programs. The Program Assistant V will act as lead for a program coordinator regarding event coordination and grant activities. Employees in this position must be prepared to develop and implement recruitment and enrollment strategies for STEM programs, as well as, collect and track data for projects, programs, and activities and support in the development of the metrics and benchmarks for evaluation.

The program coordinator will work with department Program Assistant V€™s to provide day to day logistical support services for HSI STEM student retention programs for STEM students at the community college level. The program coordinator will be in charge of event and logistical planning for program events, activities, and support services. Employees in this position must have strong project management skills and be able to handle a high volume of multiple projects and activities.
