The School of Nursing at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for a tenured Associate or Full position, to work among the nation's best nurse scholars, academics and students during a period of immense growth, change and opportunity in the field. Working among the nation's best nurse scholars, academics and students, the incumbents will prepare the next generation of nurses. This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of the nation's top facilities or in the vibrant communities that surround the university. Rank and compensation are dependent upon education, experience, and scholarship. Joint appointments and generous compensation packages that include moving and start-up for researchers are available. Endowed Chair appointments are available for highly qualified applicants who meet the School of Nursing criteria.

The School of Nursing currently has openings for highly qualified, tenured established researchers who have the following foci: Health Disparities, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, Data Science/Informatics, Genetics, and Autism.
PhD in nursing or related field is required. At least 3 years of teaching experience is required. An established program of research with a strong track of external funding is essential.
For nurses, Licensure in Virginia by the start date of the appointment is required.
