Posting Summary:
The Department of Medicine's Division of Nephrology at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, is seeking applicants for a tenure-ineligible Clinical Faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position is responsible for the provision of clinical care to patients with both chronic and end-stage kidney disease. The department is seeking candidates who are interested in a leadership role that champions the UVA Health System's strategic vision as a clinical leader. This position will have a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine.

The UVA Department of Medicine is dedicated to preventing disease & treating illness, educating & inspiring future leaders in the field of internal medicine. We provide comprehensive care across all specialty disciplines. This appointment will provide care to patients in our out-patient clinics, in-patient consult services, and out-patient dialysis centers.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by appointment start date and have a commitment to clinical excellence and teaching. Candidates must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills and experience working across disciplines.
The position will remain open until filled.
