The College of Music, with 90 faculty, 40 support staff, and 1,150 students, offers a wide range of degrees in music, baccalaureate through the doctorate. See the College of Music web page at http://www.music.fsu.edu.
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the College of Music's Arts Administration program.
Oversee the Master of Arts in Arts Administration degree plan and corresponding curricula, including recruiting students, organizing internship placements, and providing career guidance and support.
Maintain an active agenda of professional scholarly activity in such fields as music/arts management, leadership, and/or related areas.
Participate in activities related to the academic mission of the university, including service on committees and student advising.
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in a music discipline.
Significant professional experience in the fields of arts management and leadership.
University teaching experience, a demonstrable record of scholarly/creative activity and service, and ongoing research.
Must meet University criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
Doctoral degree preferred.
