The University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science invites applications for a nine-month, full-time Lecturer position in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE). The ideal candidate possesses knowledge and skills in the areas of mechanical and aerospace engineering, dynamics, experimental and/or computational labs, and design, as well as a commitment to teaching excellence and design innovation. Responsibilities include teaching lecture, design and laboratories courses. Candidates must possess at least a master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field. The successful candidate may be offered either a 3-year renewable contract or a series of three 1-year renewable contracts. Starting date may be January or August 2019.
