Description:

Implement the Banner Continuing Education module (OLR) for use by the English Language Institute at Georgia Gwinnett College using baseline Banner functionality (in Banner TEST and PROD). Provide on-the-job training for ELI staff. Prepare job-aids for ELI staff that provide succinct instructions for continued maintenance and update of the implementation. Provide a step-by-step process flow/map of all activities from start to finish.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Define, configure and test the self-service application for admissions
  • Define, configure and test the payment of application fee components
  • Define, configure and test required course registration components
  • Define, configure and test required grading components
  • Define, configure and test required entry and tracking of ELI related test scores
  • Define, configure and test the D2L integration
  • Define, configure, and test related end of term processes
  • Identify all forms/tables to be used for build
  • Identify values to be used and entered in appropriate Banner forms
  • Define all values and text for the self-service application
  • Develop documentation for all steps to build, update, and execute ELI/Banner processes
  • Miscellaneous (D2L, reports, additional training, etc.) as required/requested
  • Perform other duties, as assigned




Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School or GED
  • Expertise with the Ellucian Banner Student Information System
  • Expertise with the development of on-the-job training
  • Expertise with development and delivery of job-aides

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field

Position may require local travel. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus.
