Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in the biological sciences or related field.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
1-2 years of research experience in a lab setting, experience handling laboratory mice is preferred but not essential.
License or certificate:
The Crawford lab is recruiting a full-time research specialist to assist in lab organization and support multidisciplinary neuroscience research centered on mouse models of pain and peripheral neuropathies. The ideal candidate is well organized and self-motivated with laboratory experience and a passion for science.
Occasional weekend hours may be required during certain experiments in the lab. A criminal background check will be conducted prior to hiring.
