Job Summary:

This is a senior level position supporting the fiscal and accounting management of the centralized business office of the Laboratory of Genetics including the Medical Genetics Department in the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) and the Genetics Department in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS). Manage gift, grant, and state funds in excess of $10 million for the Departments. Requires knowledge of University and State accounting policies and procedures, as well as internal billing systems. Using this knowledge, the position reviews varied accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely completion. Duties are performed under general supervision.
