Budget Analyst - Office of Budget and Planning-18001427

The analyst will report to the Director of Budget Services and support the Budget Center team with reporting and analysis needs, including budget and forecast compilations. The analyst will help develop tools and reports on various platforms to assist the team with monitoring budgets and developing budget analytics. The analyst will develop baseline budgets and forecasts for review by the Senior Analyst and the Director of Budget Services. The Analyst will provide Budget Center and School/ Unit performance reports on available balances for all account or fund types, and will create ad hoc reports to answer budgetary or financial question.

Basic Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience with Excel, including report generation.
  • Ability to work effectively with highly diverse clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education.
  • Experience using information systems.
  • 3-5 years related experience.
