€¢ Proficiency in commonly used office software and marketing applications such as Microsoft Office, Facebook, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.

€¢ Basic proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or similar graphic design applications with knowledge of modern design trends
€¢ Video production skills or experience

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

As a member of the Marketing Department, the Marketing & Communications Specialist will perform tasks in support of the department€™s two primary goals: brand awareness and enrollment growth. Duties include:

€¢ providing excellent customer service to internal clients from the college€™s academic departments and student services areas by performing project intake (developing scope of work, timelines, etc) and managing projects through completion
€¢ supporting the execution of public relations tactics by writing media releases, performing media outreach, and securing media coverage
€¢ supporting the execution of digital marketing tactics by writing and editing content including blogs, email blasts, and posts for social media
€¢ managing relationships with external vendors such as photographers, videographers, web consultants, etc
€¢ supporting the enforcement of brand and editorial standards
€¢ creating reports
€¢ other duties as assigned

TEMP / Seasonal ending December 2018 with the majority of tasks to be performed onsite, during standard office hours.
